Miracles at Agape Acres
I had asked our friends to pray that God's glory would be
revealed at our service at Agape Acres in Lake Park, Minnesota.
Our prayers were answered wonderfully.
I preached on the subject "God is Not a Has Been."
I told the people: "There is nothing in the Bible to indicate
that God is planning to go out of the miracle business. If ever
He healed the sick, He will do it today. If ever He opened blind
eyes, He will do it today. If ever He multiplied the fish and
loaves, He will do it today. If ever He raised the dead, He will
do it
today."
The Lord confirmed the Gospel with signs following. Dale Thompson
had not been able to lift his arms above shoulder level since
he rolled his pickup six years ago. Immediately after prayer,
his arms were lifted in praise to God high above his head. To
God be the glory!
Two women also testified of receiving healings during the service.
One woman in her 80s, who had been diagnosed with Parkinsons
disease, testified that the tremor in her hand completely stopped
during the service. She thought that the results were only temporary,
but I encouraged her to believe for a permanent manifestation
of healing.
Another younger woman with a number of serious ailments, past
and present, experienced a healing in her neck. While people
were being prayed for, she thought, "I should go up for
my neck." She was experiencing severe stiffness and pain
in her neck. Just then, the presence of God came on her and all
the pain and stiffness left. She demonstrated to me full mobility
in her neck area following the service.

Instantly Healed
About a year ago I was having therapy for pain in my neck and
shoulder. i did it for three months with little help. One Sunday
I went with my daughter and her family to River Hills Church,
which I did every time I visited her. That day my shoulder and
arm were so painful I had to hold it with my other hand.
Pastor Tom invited people with problems to come up to be prayed
for. My daughter insisted that I go up. I did an Pastor Tom asked
me to move my arm up, but I couldn't move it away from my body
very much or raise it up. They put their hands on me and prayed.
Then he asked me to raise my arm up and it shot way up over my
head with no problem. To this day I have no pain.l I was so overwhelmed
the tears rolled down my cheeks. Thank you God!

Shoulder Pain Healed
Ruby Butler of Salem, Illinois attended a service with Tom
Shankin in Kell, Illinois in 2,000. She asked for prayer for
her right shoulder. Ruby had been experiencing pain when she
moved her arm to reach in a cabinet. Her shoulder was hindering
her when going to sleep to the point where it became necessary
to use a pillow to support herself in order to get to sleep.
When the invitation was given for prayer, she said, "I'm
gonna try that."
At first, she said, the pain was still evident althought it
was less, but within a day or two, the pain was completely gone
and has not returned. "After a day or two," she stated,
"I decided I was healed. "When I tell people, some
kind of look at you funny, like you don't know what your talking
about. The pain is still gone today,," Ruby testified. "It
just stayed gone." Ruby is a member of Celebration of Life
Church in Salem, pastored by Jim and Susie Boyd.

Healed of Diabetes
In 1996 I was diagnose with diabetes. My grandmother had diabetes.
I had all the symptoms, thirst, tiredness, my eyes were affected,
and more. I had a lot of prayer, started claiming a healing, and
I believed my healing was coming even though the symptoms were
still there. I did than, and still do believe in the Laying on
of hands. This past summer I was visiting Pastor Tom Shanklins
church when he preached on Blessing and Curses, I ordered that
tape, plus two more on the same subject, I also got the Healing
tape with Scriptures of healing on it. As soon as the Blessing
and Curses series came out I got that. I listened to these tapes
at home and in my car, I studied them, and took down notes. Putting
to practice what I was hearing. I believe God showed me thru these
tapes what I needed to know, understand, and do. I found all of
these tapes to be excellent. My symptoms were leaving me and they
are now gone. I had my Diabetic Check up done a couple months
ago , The Doctor checked over my tests and told me he did not
think that I had diabetes. He wanted to do more tests. I came
back in a couple days for the results and he said, " I see
no sign of diabetes in you," I give all the Glory, Honor
and Praise to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Thanks for the Healing Tape
I recently ordered (and received) your Healing Tape. I just wanted
to let you know that you did a great job in making the tape. Your
voice is very soft and soothing and the delivery is excellent.
The scriptures, of course, are wonderful. My husband and I listened
to the tape while driving and I do believe that God is healing
us. I've sent the tape to a sick friend in Grand Marais, Minnesota
and I believe God will minister to her needs also. You're doing
a great job. Thank you.

Chronic Headaches Healed
I am a 43 yr. old woman who has suffered from chronic headaches
since a gymnastics injury from my high school days. Within the
last 10-12 yrs. the headaches have been getting worse, to the
point of this past year I would have moderate to severe headaches
5 out of 7 days a week. This condition caused me to see chiropractors
often. It would affect my vision and capability to work. Recently
at the request of my 21 yr. old daughter I once again returned
to a medical doctor who said he thought I also may have polymyalgia.
I was having severe pain in my shoulders and arms in addition
to the headaches. I have been prayed for for these symptoms many
times in the past ten years. About three months ago I started
listening to a healing tape that Pastor Tom Shanklin made, that
has scriptures on it, of Jesus healing. I have a fifteen to twenty
minute drive to and from work daily. I listened to this tape to
and from work over and over again. I would like to give Jesus
Christ all the glory, praise and honor that as that word penetrated
into my spirit, I have not had severe pain or headaches for eight
weeks now. I am free indeed! Jesus gave me absolute victory over
my problem.

Healed of Severe Back Pain
I am a retired nursing home worker who attends a Greek Orthodox
church in Mpls. I had gone to the doctor for severe back pain
and he said it could be a slipped disc, arthritis or sciatica.
He put me on pills and for six days I took them but no easement
of the pain so I quit taking them. My friends invited me to the
Healing service at church and I almost backed down. But I went.
When Pastor Shanklin called people who needed healing to come
down. I asked my friend if I could go..because I don't go to church
I didn't think I could, but she said yes so I did. Pastor Tom
and Susan prayed for me and I KNEW I was being healed. There was
such heat that went through me I began to cry. I felt so good.
My back was healed! I am so glad I went. I believe in the healing
laying on of hands and recommend it to anyone who will believe.
It is better than pills!! Before I had to take the elevator now
I take the stairs.I listen to Pastor Shanklins Healing Tape every
morning while I have coffee and every night before I go to bed.
I am so thankful! I feel better every day.

Headaches Healed by God's Word
I was suffering from headaches with almost no let up. The usual
meds didn't touch them either. My doctor had wanted me to have
some tests such as an MIR. That wasn't to be an option because
I don't function well in tight places. I didn't want to take any
strong meds so I had told her I would think about what I wanted
to do. In the meantime the headaches simply were not going away.
I would wake up at night suffering from them. Sandy mentioned
something about her church having a tape that her pastor had made
with Bible verses on healing. I got one and listened to it for
several days in a row. I started to quote the Bible verses and
come against the headaches with the Word and the headaches started
going away. For a while the headache would return but it did not
stay when I used the Bible verses against it. Now I hardly think
about it any more. I am healed of headaches but I still listen
to the healing scriptures just to reinforce the Word in my life.
something I learned from this experience however was this. Those
constant headaches really wore me out and people who have really
serious physical problems need to be prayed for to withstand the
actual mental stress as well as the physical stress of dealing
with a disease. I have prayed with people coming against the disease
that they are dealing with but I never thought about the mental
stress of dealing with a serious disease. Do you understand what
I am trying to say.? God healed me of headaches but He taught
me a valuable lesson as well. Praying for people who are ill is
a two fold prayer. You probably already know this but I needed
to verbalize it. You asked about Rich Pratts problem. We gave
him a tape too. He has had two really bad heart attacks and is
in pain (from the attacks or something else I am not sure) but
I will give him your e-mail address and ask him to share with
you about it. Thank you for making the tape and Thank God for

Peace Received through Healing Tape
My two sons were involved in a motorcycle accident on march 3.
I was given your Healing Tape by Ann Kinkeade, and it was very
encouraging. I made many trips to North Memorial Hospital and
it was a welcome treat to hear your uplifting words. I'm not sure
if you or others in your church family knew of the accident and
were praying along with Ann, but we were certainly feeling God's
Amazing Grace as we made it through each day with a sense of peace.that
can only happen through prayer, and I thank you very much.

North Dakota woman receives miracle
A miracle happened to me, one Sunday in July 1996, during church.
Pastor Shanklin's sermon was on healing. I listened intently.
As the service was ending I decided I would ask for prayer for
the right side of my back and hip.
For about thirty years I've had pain off and on. Starting years
ago when I stood or bent in a certain way. Now, the pain bothered
all the time-lying, sitting, standing or walking. I've been going
to a chiropractor. His treatment never completely helped and in
a few days I was back as bad as ever.
I decided I had rheumatism and would have to live with the
pain. Up until July it was so bad I couldn't enjoy my daily walk.
The doctor and chiropractor both said,"Don't give up walking".
As Pastor Shanklin ended the service he did ask for anyone needing
prayer. I decided"Yes, Lord, it's my turn".
He looked at the congregation- mentioned a few problems that
may need prayer- then he said: "Anyone need healing for a
bad back" and he looked my way with his hand pointed.(I had
never told Pastor about my back). As he pointed his finger my
way- from the pulpit- I could feel and in my minds eye see the
pain leave - as a vapor - rising from my hip, hitting my ribs,
then shoulder and I remember looking at my shoulder - for a moment
wondering if I would see the vapor rise beyond my body.
- In that instant I was healed! Like a sliver - when it is
gone, the spot feels better but the flesh around it is still
sore. The big pain was gone ( in that vapor ) but for about a
week the flesh around was sore, however within two weeks the
pain and soreness I'd felt for half my life was gone - -totally.
A miracle - instantly. Thanks to the Holy Spirit and Pastor Tom.

Fungus Defeated
I have battled with fungus between my toes since I went to
Hong Kong in 1986. It flairs up more in tropical climates. Please
agree with me for complete manifestation of healing in that area
(I try to keep it as dry as possible, as well). God Bless you

It didn't take the Lord long to hear and answer your prayers
concerning my feet. Since I asked for prayer, the peeling between
the toes has almost stopped completely and the itchiness is COMPLETELY
gone! Hallelujah! That is no small thing, as it's been a recurring
issue for 12 years! So now we'll just thank the Lord for exalting
His Word over
those feet! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. God Bless you

Healed of Bursitis by the Power of God
There is my testimony about how Jesus healed me from Bursitis.
My Shoulders got so bad especially my left shoulder. I was so
painful I couldn't lift my arm at all. So to be able to drive
I used my right arm to help lift my left arm up on the stirring
wheel. Then I was okay to drive. Even to comb my hair or to set
it ,I put a tin can on the dresser and lifted my arm up on it,
being helped by my right arm. That went on a long time. I told
Pastor Tom. My pastor prayed for me and laid hands on me. . and
Jesus healed me. I thank God for that. I also had a wart on top
of my wrist which was quite high one so I was always banging it
so it was touchy. Well, Pastor Tom laid hands on it and prayed
and Jesus took care of that also. I am so thankful to Jesus for
healing me and keeping me in such good health and I am so thankful
to be living for Jesus and being born again. Praise God! P.S.
I believe I have at least one word that isn't spelt right.
