TEN REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND CHURCH THIS SUNDAY
1. IT IS GOD'S COMMAND
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the
manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the
more, as ye see the day approaching. (Hebrews 10:25, KJV).
If you are not involved in a local church, you are disobeying God and out of His will and out of His channel of blessings. The scripture is clear that it is God's will for you to associate with the church. Jesus, our leader and example, went to church
2. YOU NEED RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE BODY, NOT JUST A TELEVANGELIST
From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted
by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual
working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body
unto the edifying of itself in love. (Ephesians 4:16, KJV).
3. THE CHURCH NEEDS YOU. . .
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33, KJV).
What a waste of a life to spend it pursuing natural and material
things.
4. TO BE WHERE THE ACTION IS. . .
Someone says, "Church is boring." WRONG! I challenge
you to read the book of Acts. Church is not boring. Peter and
John went to a prayer meeting and raised up a man that had never
walked a day in his life. He went walking a leaping and praising
God. Church is not boring! Man in Africa is raised from the dead
during a church service where Reinhardt Bonnke is preaching. Church
is not boring! If you think so, you are out of the loop.
5. TO BRING YOUR CONTRIBUTION
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may
be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD
of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour
you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive
it. (Malachi 3:10, KJV).
Satan likes nothing better that for churches to lack needed finances
and for ministers to be in lack. His goal is to see every Gospel-preaching
minister under pressure for finances, working part time or full
time jobs, unable to focus fully on their ministry. Instead of
winning souls and preaching the Word, they are forced to find
a way to support their families.
But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body,
as it hath pleased him. (1 Corinthians 12:18, KJV).
6. TO GROW CLOSER TO THE LORD
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there
am I in the midst of them. (Matthew 18:20, KJV).
7. TO HELP CHANGE THE WORLD
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the
gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15, KJV).
8. TO RECHARGE YOUR SPIRITUAL BATTERY
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye
may grow thereby: (1 Peter 2:2, KJV).
9. TO RECEIVE FROM THE MINISTRY GIFTS, ESPECIALLY YOUR PASTOR
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists;
and some, pastors and teachers; (Ephesians 4:11, KJV).
10. TO RECEIVE SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT FOR YOUR FAMILY (the church is about family)
Make a commitment now to attend a Gospel-preaching church this Sunday.
